‍MEMORIAL SERVICES FOR ROB KELLEY

The first memorial service for Rob Kelley will be on Saturday, March 4th at 1:00 p.m.  The service will be held at The United Methodist Church, 110 E.  11th St., Eads CO 81036. Burial and a dessert reception will follow.  An optional limited viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. that same morning at Brown Funeral Home, 1109 Hickman St., Eads CO 81036.

The second memorial service will be Saturday, March 18th at 11:00 a.m.  This service will be held at Arvada Covenant Church, 5555 Ward Rd, Arvada CO 80002. A reception will follow with a location yet to be determined.

Feed the Homeless

Kacey and Steph Larson invite you to help assemble sack lunches and feed the homeless on Saturday, March 4th beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The first way you can get involved is to provide donations such as bread, lunchmeat, sliced cheese, packaged snack items, fruit, water bottles, sandwich bags and grocery bags. These donations may be dropped off at the church office during office hours.
The second way you can become involved is to volunteer to assemble the lunches and help distribute them.

If you are unable to assist in these ways, monetary donations to help purchase any remaining items, would be greatly appreciated.

MEN'S FRIDAY LUNCH - Friday, February 24, 2023

LENT SERVICES

‍Join us as we enter the 6-week period of Lent when we prepare our hearts to understand the true meaning of Easter and the tremendous sacrifice that was paid for our salvation. During Lent we will be given several opportunities to focus on the season through Scripture readings, prayer time, and devotionals.  One such devotional is Practicing the Presence of God: A 40-day Devotional based on Brother Lawrence’s writings.  We will have a limited number of hard copies available (suggested donation of $7) or you can read the devotion for FREE ONLINE through Google Books (click HERE) or Amazon Kindle (click HERE) editions.

‍ADULT SUNDAY CLASSES

‍Adult Sunday Class will begin meeting on Sunday, February 26th.  The class will be Intelligent Design, Part 2.  The class will run for 10 sessions and a signup sheet will be available on the Hospitality Counter this Sunday.  The accompanying workbook can be purchased here.‍
