LAST SUNDAY'S CHURCH HISTORY REFLECTIONS

In last Sunday's service we were honored to have Jim Hill, Floyd Hussey, and Bob Priborsky, all long-time members of Grace Covenant, speak on the history of GCC.  All of them sited God's faithfulness in the mountains and valleys of church existence over the past 50 years.  Attached HERE is a year-by-year pictorial history of the first 41 years of the church, from 1970 - 2011.  Copies will also be available on the counter in the Hospitality area on Sunday.  

FRIDAY MEN'S LUNCHEON

This Friday, the men will be meeting at El Tequileno's in the King Soopers shopping center on Kipling and Florida at 11:30 a.m.

HARVEST FESTIVAL October 31st

The annual Harvest Festival, hosted by the Children's Ministry, will be held on Monday, October 31st, from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m.  here at the GCC Campus.  This is a safe, free, and fun environment for everyone to enjoy.  There will be Trunk or Treat vehicles, candy, carnival games, rope swings, a story maze,  and AWESOME concessions!  Please come and join in the fun!

‍HOW CAN WE HELP?    

• Decorate your vehicle for the Trunk or Treat portion of this event.  The kids love going from vehicle to vehicle, collecting candy on their way, to enjoy the various ways the owners transform their trunks into elaborate scenes.
• Donate candy, lots of candy!
• Adults to facilitate the indoor games
• Security Volunteers

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDING SOON - A Reminder

Sunday, November 6th, is the day we set our clocks back one hour.

MEMBERSHIP CLASS COMING SOON

Pastor Nick will be conducting a Membership Class on Sunday, November 13th, following service from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  There will be a light lunch served and daycare will provided with an RSVP to the church offices or indicated on the Connection Card.  This class will discuss the benefits of membership in our church.  Discussions include:

• the mission of God in our midst,
• the mission of the Covenant denomination as a whole,
• the mission of our church specifically,
• the mission of a member.

There will be an opportunity to become a member at this class.  Please note on the Connection Card if you would like to attend.  

THANKSGIVING MEAL OFFERED ON THANKSGIVING DAY

Once again, Diana Moffet is opening her heart and the GCC kitchen to host a Thanksgiving potluck meal to anyone who would like to share the day with other friends of the GCC Community.  This gathering will take place from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. on November 24th.  If attending, you may sign up here. There will also be a signup sheet on the counter in the Hospitality area.
