There will be a brief Congregational Meeting on Sunday, January 1, 2023, immediately following the service.  This meeting will be to introduce and vote on Debbie Gilmore as the candidate who has been nominated to fill the vacant position on the Nominating Committee.    She will fill the vacancy left by Mark Mehl, whose term ended in 2022.  We would appreciate as many members to attend this meeting as possible.  Once seated, the Nominating Committee will then begin the process of selecting two at-large members for the Leadership Team. GCC'S MEAL TRAIN OPPORTUNITY

Additional volunteers are needed for the meal train presently operating at GCC. When someone is going through a difficult time, it can be hard to know how to best support them. Whether they just had a baby, lost a family member, or had a major surgery, making sure they have their basic needs met—food being one of them—is step number one.  Laura Lahr is the contact for this ministry.  You may speak to her about getting your name on the list to provide a meal.  She can be reached at lrlongwood@hotmail.com.
