UPCOMING EVENTS:

HARVEST FESTIVAL: Tuesday, October 31 – 5:00 p.m.

Come and enjoy a safe alternative to Halloween at the Harvest Festival right here at Grace Covenant. The Torches work very hard on putting this together and every year there are hundreds from the neighborhood that attend. Kelly and the Torches need kitchen volunteers, game volunteers and decorated vehicles for the Trunk & Treat portion of the evening. Contact Kelly at kelly@gcclakewood.org or indicate your interest on the Connection Card. And plan on attending with your family, neighbors, and friends.

MOBILIZING COMMON GROUNDS (aka Cookie Church): Sunday, November 5 – 11:15 a.m.
We will be reaching out to our neighbors at Edelweiss Apartments on that Sunday and delivering homemade cookies to their door with a greeting card. There are 96 units in the complex, which means we need 12 people to bake 4 dozen cookies each. We will leave from the church at the conclusion of the service. Are you willing to come alongside of the Leadership Team and Staff to put the cookies on their doors? We need as many people as possible to take 30 minutes to bless our neighbors. Please use the Connection Card to say “yes” to baking and/or delivering. Thank you!

ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION ON PRAYER: Sunday, November 5th - 6 p.m.
Do you have questions about prayer in general?  Join us on November 5th in a roundtable discussion on prayer.  Some of the prayer team members will be there to discuss any question or idea that arises basing their views on Biblical principles. Please join us for this lively and informative session.

BAPTISM CLASS AVAILABLE: Saturday, November 4th, 5-6:30 p.m.
This class is available to anyone who would like to be baptized on Sunday, November 19th.  The class, taught by Pastor Nick, will address what the Bible says about baptism and the power of Jesus through the act of baptism.  Please let us know if you would like to attend by noting it on the Connection Card in the seat back in front of you.

BAPTISM AND BLESSING/TESTIMONY CEREMONY: Sunday, November 19 - Worship service

Please contact the church office if you are interested in being baptized or participating in the anointing ceremony to recommit your life to God.

THANKSGIVING MEAL: Thursday, November 23rd, 12:00 p.m.
Diana Moffet and Kara Tush are hosting their annual Thanksgiving meal.  The main fixings will be provided.  They are asking that you would bring a side dish or dessert for 4-6 people.  It is helpful to know how many people will attend.  Just let them know through text message if you are attending or have any questions.  Diana - 303-547-2590 or Kara - 720-589-4218

STAND SUNDAY: Sunday, November 26 - Worship Service
Together we will join with churches across the U.S. to raise awareness of the needs of vulnerable children and families in our communities who are touched by the foster care system.
