WOMEN'S MINISTRY ANNOUNCEMENT  & HOLIDAY GATHERING:
Thursday, December 7th, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
This Thursday will be the last evening of our Women's Ministry study. We will be on a break until after the holidays. We will be hosting a Women’s Holiday Gathering on Thursday, December 7th from 6:30-8:30 at the von Stein house. Bring an appetizer or dessert to share. We will have a mini gift exchange-$10 limit. Bring a gift, if you’d like, and come home with a new treasure! Please RSVP to Breanna at kristinbreanna@gmail.com.

ANNUAL ALL-CHURCH CHRISTMAS DINNER AT GCC:
Sunday, December 10, 5 - 7:30 p.m.
We will come together as the GCC Community to appreciate one another as the family of God. Join us for a ham dinner, making gingerbread houses, or playing Bingo. All are welcome. We ask that if you are attending, you would bring a side dish or dessert.  

VON STEIN OPEN HOUSE:  Sunday, December 17, 1 - 3:30 p.m.
Pastor Nick and Breanna will be hosting a Christmas open house at their home at 1764 S. Vancouver Court in Lakewood. Everyone is welcome to stop by, hang out, and enjoy the afternoon with the von Stein's.  

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES:  Sunday, December 24
There will be two Christmas services the day of Christmas Eve. The two services, one at 10:00 a.m. and another at 4:00 p.m., will be identical services with candle lighting included in both. Plan on attending either service.

LIFE LINE SCREENING COMING TO GCC:  Friday, January 12, 2024
"Be smart, do more for your cardiovascular health", is a quote from LifeLine Screening.  They will be here at GCC conducting screenings on that day.  The four screenings include Carotid Artery Disease, Atrial Fibrillation, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, and Perpheral Arterial Disease, all for $149.  To register for your appointment and to receive the special discount, please call 1-800-640-6307 or visit LLSA.SOCIAL/HC.  Pick up a flyer this Sunday at the Hospitality Counter.

What a gift we received on Sunday to hear the stories of several woman who have stood up, both personally and professionally, to serve those impacted by foster care. Were you challenged in a new way? Use the links below to find resources and information on next steps that you can take to:

• become a certified foster parent,
• provide support for foster families,
• walk alongside a family in crisis,
• donate to an organization that serves kids in care and their families,
• pray for the needs of children and youth in care,
• learn more about the need for your involvement.

Remember, you're not standing alone--the Church is called to care for children who need families James 1:27 and "Wherever we go, we go together!"
